Hickory Ave Man Arrested for Drugs
04/29 2016 Lee County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Agents arrested 45 year old Jaquan Tion Burroughs of 325 Hickory Avenue Sanford NC 27330. Burroughswas arrested for possession with intent to sell and deliver heroin, sell and deliver heroin, possession with intent to sell and deliver crack cocaine, sell and deliver crack cocaine and two counts of drug paraphernalia. Burroughs was held in the Lee County Jail under a $30,000.00 secured bond.
Argyll Drive Man Arrested; Bond set at $750,000.00

26th 2016 Lee County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Agents arrested Sean
Adger Alligood, age 46 of 560 Argyll Drive Sanford.
Alligood was charged with 2 counts of possession with the intent to sell and deliver Heroin, 2 counts of sell Heroin, 1 count of possession with the intent to sell and deliver Suboxone, 1 count of possession with the intent to sell and deliver Opium (Oxycodone), 1 count of sell Opium, 4 counts of felony maintaining a vehicle used to store and sell an illegal controlled substance, 1 count of misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia and 1 count of misdemeanor non assaultive child abuse.
Sean Alligood was jailed under a $750,000.00 secured bond.

Beulah Brown Rd Man Charged with Attempted Murder

9:08 AM The Lee County Sheriff’s Office responded to 118 Nutbush Rd., Sanford in
reference to a 911 call for a gunshot victim.
Deputies found Travis Lee Ashford (36) of Hope Mills NC on scene suffering from gunshot wounds to his lower legs and shoulder. Ashford was flown to UNC hospitals in Chapel Hill where at 3:00PM he was still in surgery but in stable condition.

Lee County Sheriff’s Office Investigators found Jessie
Dametric Daniels (34) of 649 Beulah Brown Rd. Sanford hiding in the woods near
Hughes Mobile Home Park. He was taken into custody w/ out incident. Daniels was
charged with attempted murder and assault w/ a deadly weapon, w/ intent to kill
inflicting serious injury. He was held under $250,000 secured bond.

Office Narcotics agents executed a search warrant on the residence of Brian
Thomas Bright located at 15 J. Stewart Lane Sanford NC, 27330.
Brian Thomas Bright, age 40 was arrested and charged with 3 counts of possession with the intent to sell Heroin, 3 counts of selling Heroin, 4 counts of felony maintaining a dwelling place for the storage and sells of an illegal controlled substance, 1 count of possession of Heroin and 1 count of misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.
Bright was jailed under a $152,000.00 secured bond.
