This month, the North Carolina Department of Justice updated their publication “North Carolina Firearms Laws.” This version of the publication has no substantive changes but it has been re-formatted and re-worded in several areas to help clarify some of the more difficult to understand laws.
I would strongly suggest that anyone seeking new ownership of a firearm to read this document to become more familiar with the NC laws.
