A joint investigation conducted by Narcotics Divisions from
Lee County Sheriff’s office, Moore County Sheriff’s office, North Carolina
State Bureau of Investigations, Sanford Police Department, U.S. DEA, U.S. Department
of Homeland Security lead to the arrest of Armando Moreno Sanchez, 44, of 183
Moody Road Sanford.
Armando Moreno Sanchez (owner of La Sirenas restaurant located at 2902 Industrial Dr in Sanford) was arrested and charged with 2 counts of trafficking Methamphetamines by possession, 2 counts of trafficking Methamphetamines by sell, 2 counts of trafficking Methamphetamines by delivery, 2 counts of felony maintaining a store being used for unlawfully keeping or selling controlled substances, 2 counts of drug paraphernalia. Sanchez was jailed under a $25,000.00 bond.
