18 Year Old Dies From Gunshot; Suspect Arrested

5/28/2016 @ 8:21PM      The Lee County Sheriff’s Office received a call at 2023 Eveton Ln. Sanford of a shooting victim. Upon arrival Deputies found Trayvon Marquie Morrison (18) of 2023 Apt. 6 Eveton Ln. suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest. Morrison was pronounced dead at Central Carolina Hospital.

Nicholas James Guido Jr. of 2023 Apt 14 Eveton Ln. Sanford reported (on scene) he was handing a pistol to Morrison and during the exchange, the pistol discharged. The exchange of the pistol took place outside the apartment complex on the stairway.

Giudo Jr. (31) was charged w/ involuntary manslaughter and possessing a firearm by felon; he was held under $100,000 secured bond. This investigation is ongoing.
