Three Arrested Following Traffic Stop



On Tuesday August 23, 2016 Lee County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics agents, North Carolina ALE agents along with agents from the Sanford Police Department were conducting enforcement action in the areas of numerous ABC permitted locations. The following subjects were arrested pursuant to traffic stop initiated by NC ALE and Lee County Sheriff’s deputies in the parking lot area of the Jack Pot Mini Mart on Lee Avenue. While the agents had the vehicle stopped agent’s recovered marijuana after a short foot chase with one of the occupants. Further investigation revealed outstanding warrants for one of the individuals and additional controlled substances from within the motor vehicle. All subjects were arrested and transported to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office for processing. 





Geraldine Andrade, 17 years old of 810 Rose Street Sanford NC. Andrade was charged with simple possession Marijuana less than ½ ounce, drug paraphernalia and resist a public officer. Andrade was jailed under a $1,000.00 secured bond.




James Dean Lewis, 24 years old of 540 Bounty Sanford. Lewis was charged with possession of tramadol, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, seat belt violation and failing to maintain lane control. White was jailed under a $3,000.00 secured bond.



Jarious Tremayne Mock, 21 years old of 842 Putnam Street High Point NC. Mock was charged with identity theft and failure to appear for possession of a counterfeit instrument and currency, possession of marijuana, possession of a stolen firearm and carrying a concealed firearm. Mock was jailed under a $20,400.00 secured bond.
