On Thursday February 8th, 2018 Lee County
Sheriff’s Office Narcotics agents arrested Jesse Deametric Daniels, age 36 of
649 Beulah Brown Road, Sanford.
Daniels had been on the run for over a year, and that came to an end when Deputies found Daniels lying on the ground, hiding behind a dog house at a residence located on Sheriff Watson Road.
Deputies took Daniels into custody and in the course of their search, Deputies discovered that Daniels was in possession of 15 Suboxone Strips and 1 dosage unit Opana crushed and packaged in clear plastic.
Daniels was charged with 1 count of possession with intent to sell and deliver a schedule IV controlled substance (Suboxone), 1 count of simple possession of a schedule II controlled substance (Opana), 1 count of misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.
Deputies also served 13 outstanding warrants for arrest on Daniels to include, 1 count of attempted first degree murder, 1 count of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury, 1 count of assault with a deadly weapon, 1 count of possession of a firearm by felon, 1 count of robbery with a dangerous weapon, 1 count of alter steal and destroy criminal evidence, 1 count of resisting a public officer, 1 count of possession with the intent to sell and deliver schedule II, 1 count possession drug paraphernalia, 1 count of hit and run leave the scene leave the scene, 1 count of driving while license revoked, 1 count of expired inspection, 1 count of expired registration.
Daniels was jailed under a $486,455.00 secured bond.
