Deep River Man Arrested Following Domestic Dispute

10/31/2018         Tammy Jean Simpson of 670 Deep River Rd. Sanford reported she was assaulted, strangled and shot at during a domestic dispute at her residence. Tommy Gene East Sr. (65) of 670 Deep River Rd. Sanford was arrested for attempted murder, discharging a firearm within an enclosure to incite fear and felony assault by strangulation; he was held under no bond.
