Another Home Grown Operation went to "POT"!

Members of the Lee County Sheriff's Office found 158 marijuana plants in a Thomas Kelly Road home Monday afternoon. Deputies entered the residence located at 148 Thomas Kelly Rd. mid-afternoon, after informa­tion that the resident, 43-year-old Tracy Thomas, had an indoor marijuana-growing operation set up there. Thomas and his son J.P., 20, were both arrested at the scene and charged with trafficking mari­juana, manufacturing marijuana, maintaining a dwelling for con­trolled substances, and possession of drug paraphernalia. These same charges were also being sought for Regina Thomas, the suspects wife. The estimated potential street value of the drugs was $384,000.
