Members of the Lee County Sheriff's Office found 158 marijuana plants in a Thomas Kelly Road home Monday afternoon. Deputies entered the residence located at 148 Thomas Kelly Rd. mid-afternoon, after information that the resident, 43-year-old Tracy Thomas, had an indoor marijuana-growing operation set up there. Thomas and his son J.P., 20, were both arrested at the scene and charged with trafficking marijuana, manufacturing marijuana, maintaining a dwelling for controlled substances, and possession of drug paraphernalia. These same charges were also being sought for Regina Thomas, the suspects wife. The estimated potential street value of the drugs was $384,000.
