Joint Agency Effort Nets Armed Robbery Suspects
Three teenagers have been charged in connection with two armed robberies since Thursday. City police and Lee County sheriff’s deputies both filed charges of armed robbery and first-degree kidnapping Friday against Tony Maurice Mc Lean, 17, of 878 Douglas Farm Road, Christian Emanuel Morales, 16, of 8495 Sheriff Watson Road and Travis Lamar Williams, 18, of Kannapolis.
The group is alleged to have committed two robberies, one at Sunnybrook Drive around 4:30 a.m. Thursday and another at Judy Ann Lane around the same time Friday morning. Both robberies were allegedly committed against women outside their homes.
