Eight Month Crime Spree Ends With Arrests



3/30/09 at approx 2AM deputies responded to Noble Oil Services in reference to alarm activation and found the business to have been broken into. Deputy’s located 4 people fleeing the area on foot and tracked the individual back to Oak Hill MHP, via K9. Detectives were called in and assisted by deputies apprehended 3 adults and 1 juvenile.

  • Tyrone Alonzo Shepard (17) B/M of 44 Oak Hill MHP Sanford


  • Earnest Lentheric Shepard (20) B/M of 44 Oak Point Ln. Sanford


  • A 13 yr old male

These persons were arrested for a string of B&E’s involving Lee Brick and Tile, Noble Oil Services, Heritage Concrete and Carolina Animal Rescue and Adoption. Tyrone Sheppard and Aaron Smith both were charged with 14 cts of Breaking and entering, 8 cts of felony larceny, 7 cts of possession of stolen goods, 1 ct. of B&E to a motor vehicle, 1 ct of attempted B&E and 4 cts of injury to property, they were both held under $35,000 secured bond. Earnest Shepard was charged with 1 ct of B&E along with the 13 yr. old juvenile. Earnest Shepard was held under $1,000 secured bond. These incidents date back to April 2008. Investigation into their involvement in other crimes in the area is on going.
