2 Men Arrested and Charged Following Search Warrant

James Nathan Turner (above), 31, of 520 Pender Street, Raleigh, and Travis Carvell Mayo(below), 33, of 2829 Brookhaven Drive, Sanford, were arrested after county drug agents executed a search warrant at a residence on Beulah Brown Road and discovered Turner in Possession of 107 grams of Marijuana and Mayo in possession of 4 grams of Marijuana and 1 gram of Cocaine. Agents also seized a 2009 Dodge pick up truck. Turner was charged with possession with intent to sell and deliver Marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and maintaining a vehicle to keep/store drugs. He was placed in the Lee County Jail under $7500.00. Mayo was charged with felony possession of Cocaine, simple possession of Marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was placed in the Lee County Jail under $5000.00 secured bond.
