There has been some discussions lately in regards to convictions on drug arrests. This video is a sample of what the Sheriff's Dept has done......

I hear alot about drug arrests and drug convictions but I never hear what we has a community are doing about the over whelming drug use in Lee County. Prescription drugs are hitting elementary school age children, middle school age children, high school children, young adults in their 20's, 30 year olds, 40 year olds, and right on up. I recognize that arrests and convictions are great but we also need to look at rehabilitation of these convictions. Most people that have drug or alcohol problems do not have health insurance so there is no help for them. If I am wrong, which I hope I am, please inform me. What is the Sheriff's department and the Police Departments role in this? Again arrest and convictions are great but we also need to help and heal the issues. I am interested in finding out what our local law enforcement does for this situation. I hope more than I think.
