Two Moore County men were arrested Thursday evening by Lee County Sheriff investigators in connection w/ a Burglary that occurred on July 14, 2010 at 2680 Hickory House Rd.
Brandon William Blomburg (23) W/M of 1498 Stanton Hill Rd. Cameron NC and Joel Wayne Dills of 124 Hidden View Rd. Carthage NC were both charged w/ 1st Degree Burglary, Felony Larceny and Felony Possession of stolen goods; both were held under $25,000 secured bond. The victim, 88 yr old female reported after she woke up on the morning of July 15th she found her front door had been forced open and her purse and other items missing. Blomburg and Dills were previously arrested in connection w/ burglaries in Moore County and when questioned by investigators about the burglary on Hickory House Rd. they both confessed. Lee County Sheriff’s Office investigators were assisted by Moore County Sheriff’s Office in the investigation.
