Lee County and state narcotics investigators arrested four individuals Wednesday in connection with a methamphetamine lab.
Lt. Bryan Allen of the Sheriff’s Office said deputies had arrested 47-year-old Danny Gilbert Abernathy, 30-year-old Amber Denise Garner, 46-year-old Frankie Kelly Abernathy and 51-year-old Earl Wayne Abernathy. Earl Abernathy and Frankie Abernathy were both charged in May 2009 following a search at the property and were on probation at the time of Wednesday’s arrest.
Danny Abernathy and Amber Garner were both being charged with felony possession of methamphetamines, felony maintaining a dwelling to store drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia, deputies said.
Meanwhile, Earl and Frankie Abernathy will both be charged with misdemeanor maintaining a dwelling and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.
Garner and Danny Abernathy were each being held in Lee County Jail under a $10,000 secured bond, while Earl and Frankie Abernathy had been released under unsecured bonds of $5,000 and $2,500, respectively.
Additional charges are likely pending related to this investigation.
