Governor Perdue has proclaimed September 18 – October 2 as “Litter Sweep” time in North Carolina and encourages citizens in all 100 counties to take an active role in making their communities cleaner.
Lee County will be holding the Fall 2011 LITTER SWEEP roadside cleanup between September 17 - October 1, 2011. If you are interested in assisting with the cleanup, please contact the local Department of Transportation office at 910-944-7621 for more details and/or click here for more info.
