The Lee County Sheriff’s Office has issued a crime alert regarding a rash of vehicle break-ins throughout the county. The Lee County Sheriff’s Office is asking that all residents be mindful to always lock their vehicle no matter where it is parked, never leave items of value inside and report any suspicious activity to local law enforcement immediately. Park vehicles in an area that is well lighted during hour of darkness. Anyone with any information about the recent series of car break-ins is asked to call our department.
