On 12/4/2011, the Lee County Sheriff’s Office investigated an armed robbery of Jackson Brother’s Produce, located at 2424 Jefferson Davis Hwy. The owner, Mitchell Jackson, reported that a male subject entered the business, produced a firearm, and demanded money. The owner provided an undisclosed amount of money to the suspect. The suspect then left in a gold color vehicle. With the assistance of the Sanford Police Department, a suspect was established and an arrest of Robert Vicente Soto, 22 of 1525 Bailey Thomas Rd. was made several hours after the robbery. Roberto Soto was placed in Lee County Jail for Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon. His was given a $100,000 secured bond.

Way to go Lee Co. Sherriff's Department. You all did an exceptional job with this case and getting him arrested very quickly. The Jackson Brothers family are precious to this community and to my family. Our business is also located in Tramway and knowing this person was arrested really is comforting.
