Arrests Made In Crime Spree

The Lee County Sheriff’s Office made several arrests in connection with several burglaries in the areas of Pendergrass Rd, Carbonton Rd and Raccoon Ct. which have occurred over the past 3 weeks.

Aaron Ray Nance (20) W/M of 3112 Pine Lake Dr. Sanford was arrested late on Wednesday night after a lengthy foot chase in the Cool Springs Rd area. Nance was charged with:

1. Breaking and entering, Felonious Larceny and Possession of Stolen goods for breaking into Roger Johnson’s storage building located at 5405 Carbonton Rd. on 2/11/2012

2. Breaking and Entering, Felonious Larceny and Possession of stolen goods for breaking into Howard Powers Jr.’s storage building located at 38 Hill Top Rd. Sanford on 2/11/2012

3. Breaking and Entering, Felonious Larceny and Possession of stolen goods for breaking into Kathryn Bullard’s residence located at 817 Pendergrass Rd. Sanford on 2/11/2012.

4. Breaking and Entering, Felonious Larceny and Possession of stolen goods for breaking into Michael Lutz’s residence located at 252 Westbrook Dr. on 2/11/2012.

5. Breaking and entering a Motor Vehicle, misdemeanor larceny and misdemeanor possession of stolen goods for breaking into Halleck Stamper’s 2010 Chevrolet while parked at his residence at 5184 Carbonton Rd. and Financial Card Theft and Identity theft for using Mr. Stamper’s credit cards.

6. Breaking and Entering, Misdemeanor Larceny and Possession of stolen goods for breaking into Ricky Poole’s garage at 220 Raccoon Ct. on 2/7/2012.

7. 1^st Degree Burglary, Felonious Larceny and possession of stolen goods for breaking into Timothy Jacob Bullard and Kathryn Bullard’s residence located at 817 Pendergrass Rd. Sanford during the night of 10/11/2011 while they were home asleep.

Nance was held under $121,000 secured bond.

The Lee County Sheriff’s Office also has secured warrants on Joseph Gordon Zumbo (23) W/M of 3112 Pine Lake Dr. Sanford for the same above charges.

Kristin Lynn Bunch (20) W/F of 3112 Pine Lake Dr. Sanford was arrested for felony possession of stolen goods, felony conspiracy and obstructing justice; she was held under $25,000 secured bond.

Jorden Leigh Hodge (20) W/F of 621 Sunset Dr. Sanford was arrested for obstructing officers; she was released under $1,000 unsecured bond.
