Reward Offered for Vandalism to Grace Christian School

Authorities are offering a reward for information leading to the arrest of the vandal(s) that targeted Grace Christian School late Weds night through Thursday morning.

Thousands of dollars in damage, including the tagging of several structures with spray paint and also stealing hundreds of dollars in cash.

“They spray painted all over the interior walls, desks, phones, computer screens,” Murr said, adding that much of the damage was confined to the main building. “They also spray painted the exterior of, I believe, five buildings — including the gym and modular classrooms.”

The church sanctuary, he said, was unharmed.

The perpetrator, or perpetrators, also kicked in the door of the athletic director's office, broke a window to gain entry to the finance office and ransacked desks, according to Murr — making off with between $650 and $700.

If apprehended, the perpetrators face charges of breaking and entering, injury to property and larceny. Anyone with information on this case should contact the Sheriff's Office.

The Sheriff's Office is offering a $500.00 reward and David Marsh with Sanford Honda is offering an additional $1000.00 reward for information leading to the arrest of the suspects.
