Two people have been arrested by the Lee County Sheriff’s
Office Narcotic Division after an undercover operation, where Agents seized
several hundred dollars of counterfeit US currency. Agents also seized
computer equipment used to make the counterfeit currency.
Angie Lynn Coley age 38 and Rodney Lynn Cummings age 30 both
of 2825 Pickard Road Sanford, NC 27330 were arrested on 10-18-2012 and charged
with Forgery of Instrument and Uttering Forged Instrument. Both
individuals were placed in the Lee County Jail under $100,000.00 secured
bond.
This case is ongoing and has been referred to the United
State Secret Service.
