The Lee County Sheriff’s Office is
sadden to announce that the victim in this case, Robert Matthew Devitto, was taken
off life support and passed away after 1:00 PM today at Wake Medical Center in
Raleigh.
This is being investigated as a homicide at this time and the Lee
County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the assistance of the public and anyone
who may have been hunting in this area on 12/18/2012.
Investigators believe there were at least 2
other vehicles parked to left of Devitto’s Red Chevrolet truck seen in the
photo. Anyone with information is urged

A cash reward is being offered for ANY information
regarding this case.
