Five Arrested Following Kidnapping and Attempted Murder


Investigators arrested 5 individuals over last night and early this morning in connection with the Kidnapping of David Cedillo (50) of 303 S. 7th St. Sanford NC. Cedillo reported that while he was at his “girlfriend’s” residence at 65 Sidney Ln. Sanford NC on 1/1/2013 he had taken a shower at approximately 9PM and found his wallet, cell phone and money had been taken out of his clothing. Cedillo reported 5 people were in the residence at the time, his girlfriend (Mary Grace Sisk), her daughter (Amber Nicole Duprey) and three males who were friends of the daughter (unknown names at time). Cedillo reported he confronted everyone in the house and threaten to call Law Enforcement if his property wasn’t returned. Cedillo reported the 3 males subjects grabbed him and began to choke him, where he became unconscious. Cedillo reported when he came to he was in the trunk of his 2004 white Honda Accord. Cedillo reported he found the emergency trunk release and escaped from the vehicle at a stoplight near Hwy 87 and US 421 intersections in Sanford.
Investigation revealed the mother (Sisk) and daughter (Duprey), concocted a plan to rob the victim put him in the trunk of his vehicle and drive the vehicle into a body of water. The mother and daughter then and solicited the 3 males subjects to carry out the plan. (Rubinosky, Coker and Place)

The following were charged w/ 1st degree kidnapping, common law robbery, possession of stolen goods, felony conspiracy to commit murder, conspiracy to commit common law robbery, larceny of a motor vehicle and possession of stolen motor vehicle:

Mary Grace Sisk (45)         of 65 Sidney Ln. Sanford NC        ($175,000 bond)

Amber Nicole Duprey (21)     of 65 Sidney Ln. Sanford NC        ($200,000 bond)

Daniel Thomas Rubinosky (20)  of 8605 Harrington Place, Sanford NC ($300,000 bond)

Andrew Gray Coker (16)     of 3048 Corn Silk Dr. Sanford NC        ($200,000 bond)

Zachary Scott Place (17)     of 5808 Minter Ave. Sanford NC        ($200,000 bond)

* Rubinosky was also charged w/ attempted murder.
