7/26/2013 @ 10:05 PM deputies were called to 390 St. Andrews Church Rd. Sanford to a domestic where a husband had discharged a weapon at his wife. Upon arrival deputies discovered Heather Jean Thompson of 390 St. Andrews Ch. Rd. Sanford reported her husband, Daniel Lewis Thompson Jr., had shot at her with a rifle during a domestic dispute. Daniel Thompson had left the scene before deputies arrived and was later arrested at his work at Frontier Spinning. Thompson (28) W/M was arrested and charged with assault w/ a deadly weapon and possessing a firearm by felon; he was held under $30,000 secured bond.
7/26/2013 Zachery Tyler Doby (19) W/M of 1717 Ridge Haven Rd. Waxhaw NC, Kelby Lee Butner (18) W/M of 2111 Cedar Ln. Sanford, Branson Paul Mann (19) W/M of 136 Quail Acres Ln. Sanford and Skylar Chance Mann (19) W/M of 136 Quail Acres Ln. Broadway NC were arrested for burning an abandoned residence located at 3349 Chris Cole Rd., burning 3 mailboxes on Elliot Rd and setting fire at a trash can at 2200 block of Henley Rd. All four were charged w/1 count of felonious burning a building and 2 counts of felonious burning personal property; they were all held under $15,000 secured bond.
