On Thursday September 12, 2013 agents of the Lee County
Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division, assisted by agents of Sanford Police
Department Tactical Narcotics Team, executed a search warrant on the property
located at 1515 Tempting Church Road, Sanford NC, 27330. Agents arrested two
individuals as a result of their investigation.
Andres Tyrone
McCormick: age 26 of 1515 Tempting Church Road was charged with 3
counts of Trafficking Opium or Heroin by possession , 2 counts of Trafficking
Cocaine by possession, P.W.I.S.D Marijuana, Felony maintain dwelling place for
C/S, Possession of a stolen firearm, and Possession of drug paraphernalia.
McCormick was placed in the Lee County Jail under $300,000.00 Secured bond.
Tyran Elijio
Snipes: age 25 of 4356 Steele Bridge Road was charged with 3 counts of
Trafficking Opium or Heroin by possession, 2 counts of Trafficking Cocaine by
possession, P.W.I.S.D Marijuana, Felony maintain dwelling place to store drugs,
Possession of a stolen firearm, and Possession of drug paraphernalia. Snipes
was placed in the Lee County Jail under $300,000.00 secured bond.
Drugs seized include 49 grams cocaine, 6 grams Heroin, 17
grams Marijuana, 7 dosage units of Hydrocodone and 5 dosage units of Percocet
and a stolen firearm. The drugs have an estimated potential street value of
$11,265.00
