Joint Undercover Operation leads to Arrest of 3



3 people were arrested on a variety of drug charges after an undercover operation by members of the Lee County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division. In addition to the arrest, agents seized 40 grams of Crack Cocaine and a Ford Pickup truck. The drugs seized had an estimated potential street value of $16,000.00. The Sheriff’s Office was assisted by members of the Sanford Police Departments Tactical Narcotics Team. As a result of the investigation, the following persons were charged:

Chad Ramon Brewington, 32, of 56 Roberts road, Sanford, was arrested on 10-25-2013 for sell and delivery of Cocaine (3 counts), Conspiracy to sell Cocaine, maintaining a vehicle to store drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was placed in the Lee County Jail under $60,000.00 secured bond.

Nathaniel Glenn Covington, 37, of 74 Toomer Lane, Sanford, was arrested on 10-17-2013 for Trafficking Cocaine (2 counts) maintaining a vehicle to store drugs, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was placed in the Lee County Jail under $75,000.00 secured bond.

David Vincent Morrison, 34, of 1103 Goldsboro Avenue, Sanford, was arrested on 10-22-2013 for possession with intent to sell Crack Cocaine, sell and delivery of Cocaine, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was placed in the Lee County Jail under $25,000.00 secured bond.
