Two Arrested Following Drug Operation

Lonnie Wayne Simmons, 51, of 124 Knot Circle, Sanford, was arrested on 2-4-2014 for Possession with intent to sell a schedule II controlled substance, sell and delivery of a schedule II controlled substance (Hydromorphone), and possession of drug paraphernalia, and maintaining a dwelling bto store drugs after an undercover operation by members of the Lee County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division. Simmons was placed in the Lee County Jail under $10,000.00 secured bond.

Franklin Matthew Quick, 47, of 1809 Spring Lane, Sanford, was arrested on 2-4-2014 for possession of Marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released under $1000.00 unsecured bond.
