No Excuse for Child Abuse

Lee County Sheriff’s Office received a complaint of child abuse on an 8 year old female. The child suffered a broken collar bone and received multiple bites about her body. The child was treated and released from Central Carolina Hospital.

After investigation by Lee County Detectives, the mother, Amanda Crystal Anspach, 27, of 1410 New Jersey Circle, Sanford, NC, was arrested for Intentional Child Abuse Inflicting Serious Injury and Misdemeanor Child Abuse. 

The father, Perry Anspach, of same address, was also arrested and charged with Negligent Child Abuse resulting in Serious Physical Injury. Both parents were placed in Lee County Jail under a $50,000 secured bond.
