First Names Released From Drug Investigation Arrests



Agents from the Lee County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division released the names of four individuals from last week’s arrest.

Hugo Aguirre Ramirez age 33, of 2901 Kendale Drive Sanford, Javier Suazo Urieta age 22, of 912 Main Street Sanford, Jacob Valente age 23 of 100 Big Springs Road Sanford and Javier Aguirre of 137 Silver Fox Lane Lillington.

Hugo Aguirre Ramirez was arrested and charged with 4 counts of conspiring to traffic Cocaine along with the charges of Identity theft and possession of an altered firearm.  Ramirez was jailed under an $800,000.00 secured bond.

Javier Suazo Urieta was arrested and charged with 3 counts of conspiring to traffic Cocaine along with the 3 counts of trafficking Cocaine by possession, 3 counts of trafficking Cocaine by sell, 3 counts of trafficking Cocaine by delivery and 3 counts of trafficking Cocaine by transportation, 3 counts of felony maintaining a vehicle for the storage and sells of controlled substances and 3 counts of possession of drug paraphernalia. Javier Suazo Urieta was jailed under a $300,000.00 secured bond.

Jacob Valente was arrested and charged with 1 count of conspiring to traffic Cocaine and was jailed under a $100,000.00 secured bond.

Javier Aguirre was arrested and charged with 1 count of conspiring to traffic Cocaine and was jailed under a $100,000.00 secured bond.

The four men are responsible for the distribution of approximately, 10672 grams (23.4 pounds) of cocaine.

This investigation was conducted by the Lee County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division and assisted by the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation, United State DEA, United States Homeland Security Investigations, Moore County Sheriff’s Office, Harnett County Sheriff’s Office and the Sanford Police Department. This is still an ongoing investigation and more arrests are expected.
