Mother & Son Arrested for Multiple Drug & Other Charges

On Monday June 8^th 2015 Lee County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics agents arrested and charged Cody James Hunt age 22 of 238 Highway 501 Bethoven Drive, Maxton NC and his mother Sharon Dawn Hunt age 51 of 193 Thomas Kelly Road Sanford.

Both Cody Hunt and Sharon Hunt were found in possession of 160 dosage units of Oxycodone “Percocet” and 60 dosage units of Oxymorphone “Opana”.

Cody Hunt was charged with 3 counts of trafficking Opium, 1 count possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver Opium, 1 count of felony possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, 1 count of possession of a stolen firearm and possession of drug paraphernalia. Cody Hunt was jailed under $200,000.00 secured bond. 

Sharon Dawn Hunt was charged with 2 counts of trafficking Opium, 1 count of possession with the intent to manufacture, sell and deliver Opium, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Sharon Hunt was jailed under a $80,000.00 secured bond.
