After a yearlong extensive investigation conducted by the Lee County Sheriff’s Office assisted by the North Carolina State Bureau Of Investigations, Harnett County Sheriff’s Office, and the United States Drug Enforcement Agency, McKoy was arrested and charged with 2 counts of trafficking Heroin by possession, 2 counts of trafficking by delivering Heroin, 2 counts of trafficking Heroin by sell, 2 counts trafficking by transportation of Heroin, 1 count possession with the intent to sell and deliver Heroin, 1 count sell and deliver, 3 count of felony maintaining a vehicle for the storage and sell of an illegal controlled substance and 3 counts of misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.
McKoy was jailed under a $1,200,000.00 secured bond. Additional charges are pending.
