On Thursday, August 3, 2017 Lee County Sheriff’s Office
Narcotics agents arrested Jorge Martinez Alvarez age 18, of 1821 Carr Creek
Drive, Sanford. Jorge Martinez Alvarez was found in possession of approximately
2 grams of marijuana, and a stolen firearm. Alvarez was charged with 1 count of
possession with the intent to sell and deliver Marijuana, 1 count of felony
maintaining a vehicle used to store and sell an illegal controlled substance, 1
count of misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, 1 count of misdemeanor
resist obstruct and or delay, 1 count of felony possession of a stolen firearm,
1 count of carrying a concealed weapon.
Alvarez was jailed under a $20,000.00 secured bond. The firearm recovered, was reported stolen in Lee County.
