Dillon Lane Man Arrested For Meth

On Wednesday September 27th 2017 Lee County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics agents arrested John David Thomas age 24 of 151 Dillon Lane Sanford. Thomas was found by agents to be in possession of approximately 3.2 grams of crystal methamphetamine. Thomas was charged with 1 count of possession of Methamphetamine, and 1 count of misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. Thomas was held under a $2500.00 secured bond.

Indian Trail Road Man Arrested for Cocaine and Other Charges

On 09/18/2017 Lee County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Agents arrested Nicholas Bradley Tart, 25 years old of 65A Indian Trail Road Sanford NC 27330 for Possession of cocaine and drug paraphernalia.
Throughout the course of the investigation agents were able to verify that Tart was a fugitive on 3 felony absconder probation violations from both Lee and Harnett counties.  Tart was jailed under a $130,000.00 secured bond.

Tart is expected to be in court on 09/19/2017 for a first appearance.

Newspaper Carrier Robbed on Sheriff Watson Road

The Lee County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a robbery of a newspaper carrier. The carrier reported he was delivering a newspaper at 502 Sheriff Watson Rd. around 2:45 AM when two men (1 white male, 1 black male) exited the woods and held him at gun point.  The carrier reported the men demanded his money. The carrier reported he complied with demands. The carrier was not harmed in this incident. Sanford Man Arrested For Drugs

On Tuesday, September 12th 2017, the Lee County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics agents, accompanied by agents from the Sanford Police Department, executed a search warrant on the property located at 807 West Williams Street, Sanford.

In the course of the warrant execution agents arrested Alexander Joseph Blaylock,  age 22, a resident of 807 West Williams Street.

Agents found Blaylock attempting to hide a small amount of marijuana in the air conditioning vent upon entry to the residence. Agents also located 7 grams of Heroin, 5 grams of Marijuana and Taurus 357 revolver.

Blaylock was charged with 1 count of trafficking Heroin by possession, 1 count of possession with the intent to sell and deliver Marijuana, 1 count of possession of a firearm by felon, 1 count of felony maintaining a dwelling place for the storage and sales of illegal controlled substances, 1 count of misdemeanor possession of schedule II (Suboxone), and 1 count of misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.

Blaylock was jailed under a $150,000.00 secured bond. 

Two Arrested During Search Warrant for Drugs

On Monday September 11, 2017 Lee County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics agents executed a search warrant on the property located at 5178 Goldfinch Turn, Sanford. Upon entering the residence agents found two occupants.


The primary resident Christopher Lee Toro was found in the restroom in the act of destroying evidence and a female identified as Heather Lynn Valdez in the living room area of the residence. In the course of the search agents located approximately 9 grams of Cocaine, 3 grams of Crystal methamphetamine, 1 ½ dosage units of Percocet, 21 grams of Marijuana, 75 dosage units of Diazepam, 3,080 Xanax, 4 ½ dosage units of Buprenorphine, 3 dosage units Dextroamphetamine and an unknown amount of Ecstasy that had been made an had not been totally recovered from the Pyrex dish. Agents seized a total of $985.00 in U.S. paper currency in the process.

Both Christopher Lee Toro age 31 and Heather Lynn Valdez age 24 of 5178 Goldfinch Turn were arrested and charged with 1 count of possession with the intent to sell and deliver 9 grams of Cocaine, 1 count of possession with the intent to sell and deliver 1 ½ dosage units of Percocet, 1 count of sell and deliver 3 dosage units of Dextroamphetamine, 1 count of possession with the intent to sell and deliver 3 grams of  crystal methamphetamine, 1 count of possession with the intent to manufacture, sell and deliver ecstasy, 1 count of possession with the intent to sell and deliver 5 dosage units buprenorphine, 1 count of possession with the intent to sell and deliver 75 dosage units of Diazepam, 1 count of possession with the intent to sell and deliver 3,080 dosage units of Xanax, 1 count of possession with the intent to sell and deliver 21 grams of Marijuana, 1 count of felony maintaining a dwelling place for the storage and sales of illegal controlled substances, 1 count of felony destruction of evidence, and 1 count of misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.

Christopher Lee Toro was jailed under a $150,000.00 secured bond.
Heather Lynn Valdez was jailed under a $50,000.00 secured bond.

Long Branch Road Man Arrested For Drugs

On 09/11/2017 Lee County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Agents arrested Williams Howard Hughes, 29 years old of 126 Long Branch Road, Sanford, for Possession with intent to sale and deliver cocaine, possession of methamphetamine, maintaining a vehicle to distribute drugs, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Hughes was jailed under a $10,000.00 secured bond.

27 Year Old Woman Arrested For Drugs

On 09/11/2017 Lee County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Agents arrested Brandi Michelle Wells, 27 years old of 76 Folded Wings Trail Sanford NC 27330 for Possession with intent to sale and deliver cocaine, possession of methamphetamine, maintaining a vehicle to distribute drugs, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Wells was jailed under a $7,500.00 secured bond.

Saddlebrook Drive Man Arrested for Heroin

On 09/05/2017 Lee County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Agents arrested Christopher Shawn Wilkes Jr., 25 years old of 113 Saddlebrook Drive, Sanford, for Possession of Heroin, maintaining a vehicle to use or store heroin and drug paraphernalia. Wilkes was jailed under a $5000.00 secured bond.

Wilkes will have a first appearance in Lee County District court on 09/06/2017.

Minter School Road Man Arrested For Drugs and DWLR

On 09/05/2017 Lee County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Agents arrested Dominique Antoine McLean, 27 years old of 1436 Minter School Road Sanford NC 27330 for Possession with intent to sale and deliver marijuana, maintaining a vehicle to distribute marijuana, drug paraphernalia and driving while license revoked.


McLean was jailed under a $2500.00 secured bond. McLean will have a first appearance in Lee County District court on 09/06/2017.

Sanford Man Arrested For Drugs


On Friday September 1, 2017 Lee County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics agents arrested Christopher Lee Toro, age 32 of 5178 Goldfinch Turn, Sanford.
Agents discovered that Toro was in possession of numerous types of both illegal controlled substances and illegally possessed prescription medications.

Toro was charged with 1 count of felony possession with the intent to sell and deliver Cocaine, 1 count of felony possession with the intent to sell and deliver crystal methamphetamine, 1 count of felony possession with the intent to sell and deliver Xanax, 1 count of felony possession with the intent to sell and deliver Marijuana, 1 count of misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.

Toro was held under a $25,000.00 secured bond.
