The Lee County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a robbery of a newspaper carrier. The carrier reported he was delivering a newspaper at 502 Sheriff Watson Rd. around 2:45 AM when two men (1 white male, 1 black male) exited the woods and held him at gun point. The carrier reported the men demanded his money. The carrier reported he complied with demands. The carrier was not harmed in this incident.
