Charlotte Ave Man Arrested at Jail with Drugs

On Monday November 6^th, 2017 Lee County Sheriff’s Office narcotics agents responded to the Lee County jail where jail staff had located approximately one and a half grams of (crack) form Cocaine and approximately 1 gram of Marijuana on an inmate that was brought into the Lee County jail.

Divine Fowler Walden, age 23 of 324 Charlotte Avenue, Sanford had been arrested previously in the day and jail staff was in the booking process when they discovered Walden had attempted to evade drug charges by hiding illegal controlled substances on or about his body.

Walden was charged with 1 count of felony possession of a controlled substance within a jail premise, 1 count of felony possession of Cocaine, 1 count of misdemeanor possession of Marijuana, and 1 count of misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.

Walden was jailed on an additional $5,000.00 secured bond.
