Search Warrant Nets Drugs, Cash and AR-15

On Friday November 17, 2017 Lee County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics agents executed a search warrant on the premises located at 120 Thornwood Loop, Sanford. 

Upon entry to the residence agents located two individuals in the bedroom area of the residence. The two individuals were later identified as Rolando Moreno age 22 of 62 Thornwood Loop, Sanford, and Mahayla Ann Coomer age 22 of 120 Thornwood Loop, Sanford. 

In the course of the search agents located 475 grams of Marijuana, 24 grams of crystal form methamphetamine, 18 grams of “crack” form Cocaine, and 36 Xanax. Along with the seized illegal controlled substance agents located one Delton brand AR15 assault rifle and $796.00 in U.S. currency.

Both Rolando Moreno and Mahayla Ann Coomer were transported to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office for processing. 

Rolando Moreno was charged with one count of possession with the intent to sell and deliver methamphetamine, one count of possession with the intent to sell and deliver Cocaine, one count of possession with the intent to sell and deliver Xanax a schedule IV illegal controlled substance, one count of possession with the intent to sell and deliver Marijuana, one count of felony possession of an illegal controlled substance within 1000ft of a school, one count of felony maintaining a dwelling for the use of storage and sells of illegal controlled substances, one count of misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, and one count of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. 

Mahayla Ann Coomer was charged with one count of possession with the intent to sell and deliver methamphetamine, one count of possession with the intent to sell and deliver Cocaine, one count of possession with the intent to sell and deliver Xanax a schedule IV illegal controlled substance, one count of possession with the intent to sell and deliver Marijuana, one count of possession of an illegal controlled substance within 1000ft of a school, one count of felony maintaining a dwelling for the use of storage and sells of illegal controlled substance, one count of misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. 

Rolando Moreno was jailed under a $150,000.00 secured bond, and Mahayla Ann Coomer was jailed under a $10,000.00 secured bond.
