Two Sanford Men Arrested for Various Charges

On 11/28/2017 Lee County narcotics agents conducted a traffic stop resulting in the arrest of two Sanford men for possession of drugs and firearms violations. Agents recovered 3 grams of Heroin, two firearms (one with serial numbers removed), 200 dosage units of Xanax, 7 dosage units of Oxycodone and 178 grams of Marijuana. The two men were arrested and put in the Lee County Jail under secured bonds. The investigation is ongoing and may lead to additional arrest.

The following individuals were arrested and charged;

Darrion Antwon McIver, 22 years old of 428 Goldsboro Avenue Sanford NC 27330 possession with intent to sale and deliver heroin and drug paraphernalia. McIver was held on a $10,000.00 secured bond.

Teon Shamal Douglas, 21 years old of 109 Fry Street Sanford NC 27330 for possession with intent to sale and deliver Marijuana, possession with intent sale and deliver Oxycodone, possession with intent to sale and deliver Xanax, possession of firearm by felon, maintaining a vehicle to sale controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. Douglas was held on a $175,000.00 secured bond.
