On 11/29/2017 two individuals were
arrested by neighboring agencies for outstanding warrants. These individuals
were entered wanted by the Lee County Sheriffs Office Narcotics Division in
regards to sales of illegal controlled substances.
James Junior Kay age 34, of 200
Thelma Sloan Lane, Sanford NC, 27332 was arrested by the UNC Hospital Police and
transported to the Orange County Sheriffs Office to be processed and placed
into the Orange County Jail. Kay was charged with possession with intent to
sale and deliver Oxycodone, sell and deliver Oxycodone and drug paraphernalia
by the Lee County Sheriffs Office. Kay was placed in the orange county jail
under a $1000.00 secured bond.
Jose Carman Cordova age 52 of 317
McIver Street Sanford NC, 27330 was arrested by the Sanford Police Department
patrol division while responding to an unrelated incident in the area of 4th
street and McIver Street. Cordova was arrested for possession with intent to
sale and deliver crack cocaine, sell and deliver crack cocaine and drug
paraphernalia. Cordova was placed into the Lee County jail under a $15,000.00
secured bond.
