Ladies Night Out - June 22nd

Across the country, violent acts against females are on the rise, mostly because they are thought to be helpless victims.  Don’t allow yourself to be victim!  

FBI statistics show that on any given day in America;

 1 Burglary occurs every 12 seconds   
  1 Assault occurs every 29 seconds 
  1 Robbery occurs every 54 seconds  
  1 Rape occurs every 5 minutes 
  1 Murder occurs every 24 minutes

Female professionals from the Lee County Sheriff’s Office will be conducting an effective ninety minute workshop for ladies of all ages, free of charge!  All you need is note taking material!   (ladies under 15 years of age must be accompanied by an adult)

This workshop will cover the following content:

Situational Awareness / Personal Safety / Domestic Violence / Safety Suggestions / Cyber Stalking / Predators & Victims / Self-Defense Weapons / Workplace Violence / Residential Security / Apartment Security / Scams / Travel Safety Tips / Internet Safety

Doors open at 6:30pm for free light refreshments; workshop starts at 7pm
