Joint Operation Nets Arrest for Sex Crimes

4/24/2019 John Morgan Bowen (39) of 5020 Simpson Dr. Sanford NC was arrested for 9 counts of 2nd degree sexual exploitation of a minor; he held under $750,000 secured bond.

These charges stem from an investigation which was initiated by the FBI and assisted by Lee County Sheriff’s Office detectives. This investigation is ongoing.
