Ammons Farm Annual 4th of July Celebration

It's that time of year again!  I'm talking about the annual Ammons Farm Fourth of July Celebration and Fireworks show!  This year’s annual Independence Day festivities and fireworks will be held on Saturday, July 6th in the open field at 2702 Farrell Road.  This event is held to raise funds for the Lee Christian School Booster Club. They will have inflatables, food and music and will be open to the public starting at 5 p.m. Saturday and fireworks begin around 9:15 p.m. Arrive early to ensure you get a parking spot.

Now, for the "official" information...

In an effort to prevent grid locking of traffic we've seen in past years, LCSO and NCDOT will close Farrell Road once the parking fields are full.  This will be done to allow emergency vehicles to move in and out as needed.  There will be NO ROADSIDE PARKING. If you plan to attend this event, it's suggested that you arrive early and be patience afterwards as the traffic exits the area.   (After the road is closed, local residents will need to provide ID in order to pass through the barricades)

If you plan on partaking in adult beverages, please ensure you have a designated driver. My staff along with NCSHP will be onsite monitoring the event, including vehicular traffic arriving and departing.
