Lee County CERT "Ham Cram"

The Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) is sponsoring a Ham Cram session this weekend to assist people to study for the Technician level ham radio license exam.

The Ham Cram will be held at the Carolina Trace Volunteer Fire Department starting on Friday evening, November 15 and continue on Saturday and Sunday. The license exam will be held on Sunday, the 17th at 2 PM. The study session is free of charge. The exam has a $15.00 fee.

Last year’s Ham Cram session had an exam passing rate of 93%. Participants are encouraged to study prior to the Ham Cram using the ARRL Ham Radio License Manual for the Technician Level, 4th edition. You do not need to be a member of CERT to participate in the Ham Cram.
