Traffic Stop Nets Two; Drugs & Outstanding Warrants

On Tuesday February 4, 2020, Lee County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics agents arrested John Wayne Oldham, age 34, of 1324 Brookhollow Drive, Sanford, and Vincent Robert Martyak, age 32, of 154 Edenberry Lane, Sanford.

In the course of a vehicle stop agents discovered that both the driver Vincent Martyak and passenger John Wayne Oldham, had outstanding warrants for their arrests. A search revealed that John Wayne Oldham was in possession of approximately .67 gram of heroin, .62 grams of crystal methamphetamine, and seven dosage units of buprenorphine hydrochloride and naloxone hydrochloride.

Both Oldham and Martyak were taken into custody, and transported to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office for processing.

John Wayne Oldham was processed and charged with one count of possession with the intent to sell and deliver.67 grams of heroin, one count of possession with the intent to sell and deliver .62 grams of crystal methamphetamine, one count of possession with the intent to sell and deliver a schedule III controlled substance and one count of misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. John Wayne Oldham was jailed under a $50,000.00 secured bond. Agents also served the outstanding warrant for arrest on Oldham which had no effect on Oldham’s bond.

Vincent Robert Martyak was jailed under a $30,000.00 secured bond for failing to appear in Lee County Court.
