K-9 Unit Visits Local Preschool

On Tuesday Morning, Lieutenant William Sturkie and Agent Joe Medlin accompanied by K-9 Officer Dex, went to Jonesboro Child Care Center and conducted a quick drug and safety talk. A K-9 demonstration for the Preschool class was conducted in a nearby field showing the students K-9 Dex's ability to track and locate human scent.

Lieutenant Sturkie, spoke briefly about the dangers of drugs and how K-9 Dex is utilized in the daily operations at the Lee County Sheriff's Office.
