Two Sanford Women Arrested During Traffic Stop

On Wednesday January 29, 2020, Lee County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics agents arrested Shelia Faulkenberr Cummings, age 43, and Melissa Ann McLeod, age 39, both of 397 Moody Road, Sanford.

During the course of a vehicle stop, it was discovered by agents that both Cummings and McLeod were in possession of approximately 3 grams of crystal methamphetamine and approximately .33 grams of heroin.

Agents transported both Cummings, and McLeod to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office for processing.  Cummings and McLeod were processed and charged with one count of possession with the intent to sell and deliver Crystal methamphetamine, one count of possession with the intent to sell and deliver heroin, and one count of misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.

Both were jailed under a $15,000.00 secured bond.
