For the second time in weeks, Sheriff Tracy Carter and his deputies busted an indoor marijuana growing operation. This time, they found 96 hydroponic marijuana plants in the Colon Road home of David Tomei, 47, around 2 p.m. Monday.
Sheriff Tracy Carter estimated the marijuana is worth about $336,000 on the street. Tomei was charged with manufacturing and trafficking marijuana, maintaining a dwelling for drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia.

If you recall, on April 20th, deputies with the Lee County Sheriff’s Office discovered an indoor marijuana-growing operation. On that day, deputies arrested a Green Valley Road man who had 78 plants in his home.
