A joint operation and investigation by the Lee County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division and the Sanford Police Departments Tactical Narcotics Team has led to the arrest of two persons and the seizure of Cocaine. Agents arrested Jonathan Wayne Arnold, 35, of 1611 Phillips Drive, Sanford, and Jermaine Derrell Petty, 27, of 416 Dudley Street, Sanford, and charged them with Trafficking Cocaine, Conspiracy to traffic Cocaine, and possession of drug paraphernalia after agents stopped them on Carver drive. Petty was also charged with resist, obstruct and delay. Agents seized 199 grams of Cocaine with an estimated potential street value of $39,800.00. Arnold was placed in the Lee County Jail under $600,000.00 secured bond and Petty was placed in the Lee County Jail under $601,000.00.
