Good Week For Drug Agents, Bad Week for Dope Dealers

On 2-18-2011, members of the Lee County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division and the Sanford Police Departments Tactical Narcotics Team executed a search warrant at the Hot Spot Convenience store located at 608 Fields Drive in Sanford. As a result of the search, agents arrested Bobby Andrea Douglas, 35, of 116 Harriet J Lane, Sanford for possession of Marijuana, maintaining a dwelling to store drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was placed in the Lee County Jail under $2000 secured bond.

On 2-11-2011, members of the Lee County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division and the Sanford Police Departments Tactical Narcotics Team executed a search warrant at 609 Pineland Street in Sanford. As a result of the search, agents arrested Demetris DeMarcous Sims, 31, of the home for possession of alcohol for sale and maintaining a dwelling to store drugs. He was placed in the Lee County Jail under $5500 secured bond. Agents also arrested Trevor Dion Rader, 19, of 144 South Plank road Sanford, for possession with intent to sell Marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was placed in the Lee County Jail under $10,500 secured bond. Agents also arrested Thomas Sequille Rader, 17, of 144 South Plank Road, Sanford, for possession with intent to sell Marijuana, maintaining a dwelling to store drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was placed in the Lee County Jail under $15,500 secured bond. Agents also arrested Antonio Latrell Neal, 32, of 511 Pineland Street, Sanford, for possession of Cocaine, maintaining a dwelling to store drugs and possession of Marijuana. He was placed in the Lee County Jail under $16,000 secured bond.

Matthew Martin Eldridge, 25, of 156 S&M Lane, Sanford, was arrested by county drug agents on 2-8-2011 after a search warrant was executed at his home. As a result of the search, agents seized nearly three pounds of Marijuana and charged Eldridge with possession with intent to sell Marijuana, maintaining a dwelling to store drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was placed in the Lee County jail under $15,500 secured bond.

Kevin Eugene Godfrey, 34, of 135 Rosebud Street, Spring lake, and Mark Jeremy Kelly, 26, of Sanford, was arrested by Lee County Deputies on 2-12-2011 for illegal possession of prescription drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia after a car stop on US #1. Both were placed in the Lee County Jail under $1000 secured bond.

Thomas C. South, 28, of 45 J Stewart Lane, Sanford was arrested on 2-16-2011 for possession with intent to sell Marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia after being found in possession of several small baggies of Marijuana.
