This is a memorial WOD for our beloved officer Elieser "Eli" Colonroche....55 years old...Born March 14, 1956, Died July 5, 2011...Retired 82nd Airborne MP 22 years...10 years with Sanford Police Department Patrol B Shift.
This event is open to the public to take part in or come as a cheering spectator! We do this because Eli no longer can. You have the option to wear your body armor or weighted vest. This signifies the bullet proof vest worn on duty. The workout will be modifiable for those of all athletic and skill levels.
The WOD will take place at 10AM, but please be here by 9AM if you are planning to take part. The cost will be $10 per non-member and will be waived for SPD. A portion of the proceeds will go a charity of choice for Eli's family. Donations above that are welcome!
Please wear Blue or Black on this day!
Eli, Thank you for all you have done for the country and the City of Sanford. You will not be forgotten.
