Three Men Arrested After Robberies



Investigators arrested 3 men today, charging them with two recent robberies; On September 18, 2011 @ approximately 11:31 PM Jeremy Christopher Haire of 938 Frank Wicker RD. Sanford reported he was robbed in his yard by 2 men w/ covered faces, one of which struck him in the head with a blunt object and stole Haire’s wallet which contained cash and the keys to his vehicle. Haire had to be treated at CCH-ER for laceration to his head. Then on September 26,2011 @ approximately 12:30 AM Kelly Lee Rogers of 1919 Pumping Station Rd. reported 2 white males with covered faces entered his home, tied him up, beat him in the head w/ a golf club and took cash, cell phone and keys. Rogers was treated at UNC Hospitals from substantial facial and head injuries.

Billy Ray Bullard of 117 Pine Dr. Vass NC was arrested and charged w/ Robbery w/ a dangerous weapon, 1st degree Burglary, Attempted 1st Degree Murder, 1st degree kidnapping, and assault w/ a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury w/ intent to kill on Kelly Rogers’s case. Bullard was charged with Robbery w/ a dangerous weapon, 1st degree kidnapping assault w/ a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury and conspiracy to commit robbery w/ a dangerous weapon on Jeremy Haire’s case. Bullard was held under $250,000 secured bond.

Randy Ross Hunter (34) of 234 Heron Rogus Rd. Broadway NC was arrested attempted 1st degree Murder, 1st degree kidnapping, assault w/ a deadly weapon w. intent to kill inflicting serious injury, 1st degree burglary and robbery w/ a dangerous weapon in Kelly Rogers’ case. Hunter was charged w/ conspiracy to commit robbery w/ a dangerous weapon in Jeremy Haire’s case. Hunter was held under $200,000 secured bond.

Jeremiah Trinity Gray of 264 Gilmore Farm Rd. Sanford was arrested in connection in the robbery of Jeremy Haire and was charged with Robbery w/ a dangerous weapon, 1st degree kidnapping, assault w/ a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury and conspiracy to commit robbery w/ a dangerous weapon. Gray was held under $50,000 secured bond.
