Three people, including a 73 year
old female, have been arrested by the Lee County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics
Division after a two month undercover operation. In addition to the three suspects listed
below, the investigation is ongoing and additional arrests are expected. Agents
seized nearly 150 dosage units of packaged heroin with a potential street value
of approximately $6000.00 after a search warrant was executed at 2306 Woodland
Avenue, Sanford.
Monica Juanita Wood, 52, of 2306 Woodland Avenue, Sanford, was
arrested on 9-27-2012 for Trafficking Heroin, 3 counts of sell and delivery of
Heroin, Conspiracy, maintaining a dwelling to store drugs, possession of
Marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was placed in the Lee
County Jail under $150,000.00 secured bond.
Helen Hazel Boone, 73, of 2306 Woodland Avenue, Sanford, was
arrested on 9-27-2012 for Trafficking Heroin, 1 count of sell and delivery of
Heroin, Maintaining a dwelling to store drugs, possession of drug
paraphernalia, and possession of Marijuana. She was placed in the Lee County
Jail under $106,000.00 secured bond.
Darlene Belinda Lawrence, 56, of 700 N. Horner Blvd, Sanford, was
arrested on 9-27-2012 for Sell and delivery of Heroin and Conspiracy to sell
Heroin. She was placed in the Lee County Jail under $10,000.00 secured bond.
